Part-Time Online AP History Teacher Position at Bilin Academy Bilin Academy is an international, multilingual learning platform for children. Role Description This is a part-time, contract, remote role for an Online AP History Teacher at Bilin Academy. The teacher's primary responsibilities include delivering AP U.S. History (APUSH) and AP World History coursework to students in an online virtual classroom. Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree in History, Education, or a related field - A minimum of 2 years of K–12 teaching experience - Experience teaching AP U.S. History and AP World History - Strong knowledge of the College Board AP History curriculum and exam requirements - Experience as an AP Reader is preferred - Experience teaching historical analysis and AP exam writing skills, including DBQs, LEQs, and SAQs - Demonstrated ability to implement interactive and engaging teaching methods in an online environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A strong commitment to student learning and success - An understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity in the classroom - Experience in creating learning materials and curriculum design is a plus - Availability during our peak time window (5–7 AM Eastern Time, 4–10 PM Eastern Time, or weekends) Responsibilities - Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning - Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities - Prepare students for AP History examinations - Develop students' historical thinking, critical analysis, and evidence-based writing skills - Evaluate students’ performance and development - Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments - Provide appropriate and constructive feedback on student work - Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students - Manage student behavior in the virtual classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures Why Join Bilin Academy? - Be part of an innovative international educational platform - Work remotely with flexible hours - Contribute to the development of multilingual global citizens - Salary: $50/h If you are passionate about teaching AP History and excited about the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, we encourage you to apply!
